The department of Electrical and Electronics engineering was established in the year 1982 with an approved intake of 60 students. During the year 2012 the intake was increased to 120 with 60 students under self finance scheme.

The department is having a team of dedicated and competent faculties working for the growth of department and the institution as well. The Department has Electrical Machines Lab, Electronic circuits & Devices Lab, Control Systems Lab, Microcontroller Lab, Power Electronics Lab and Simulation Lab. The curriculum of the department of electrical and electronics engineering is therefore designed to impart the students knowledge and skills for careers in wide range of industries.

Our goal is to empower our students to equip themselves with the latest technology, to enterprise our students in practical knowledge and to provide opportunities for higher education and industrial training.
